Belly fat in men: Why weight loss matters

STATE COLLEGE – Senior defensivemlb baseball jerseys tackle Jordan Hill underwent arthroscopic surgery on his left knee two weeks ago and said he's back running and preparing for the next step in his career.

Hill, who injured his knee at Purdue in thewholesale jerseys china beginning of November but played the rest of the season, wouldn't classify himself as 100 percent but said the knee “is getting close.” The Steelton native has no long-term concern about the injury and will remain on campus and train with Penn State strength and conditioning coach Craig Fitzgerald.

to prepare for the next level by staying in State College. While the only teammates to Hill's knowledge who won't stay to train with Fitzgerald are linebackers Gerald Hodges and the injured linebacker Michael Mauti, Hill's reason for staying is a bit different.

Aside from buying into Fitzgerald's program, there's something else Hill has to round out.

“I have to stay around, take classes in the spring and make sure I get my degree,” he said. “I have about six credits left to finish up so I'll get that taken care of.”

Senior cornerback Stephon Morris said he too will finish his degree and train at Penn State.

“I really like Fitz's program and I think it can help me,” Morris said. “I think a lot of us will be around finishing up stuff and preparing for whatever is next.”

Redshirt junior Stephen Obeng-Agyapong had his ailing right shoulder in a sling and the safety said he underwent a procedure to clean up the shoulder after the season ended. Obeng-Agyapong played with a partial shoulder dislocation and wore a harness for most of the year.

Redshirt freshman Kyle Carter, who missed the final two games of the season with a dislocated right wrist, still is wearing a cast. Carter, Deion Barnes, Allen Robinson and Adrian Amos all attended the men's basketball game and were among a large group of Penn State football players who signed autographs prior to Saturday afternoon's game.

Fans lined the Bryce Jordan Center concourse and waited more than 100 deep for a chance to say thank you to Mauti and other members of the football team.

Bill O'Brien attended the game and sat in a reserved section with his wife, son and the current players. Several recruits and their families filed in behind O'Brien, defensive coordinator Ted Roof, linebackers coach Ron Vanderlinden and defensive line coach Larry Johnson.

Penn State has many players taking official visits this weekend and among them were Cedar Cliff tight end Adam Breneman and highly-touted quarterback prospect Christian Hackenberg. The two sat together with members of their recruiting class and mingled with future teammates.

Penn State's 2012 team was honored at halftime and received a thunderous applause for sticking with the school. When the public address announcer said Mauti was named an AT&T ESPN All-American earlier in the day the applause grew.

O'Brien was introduced as the Big Ten's Coach of the Year and pointed behind him to his team. He and 7-year-old son Michael waved to the crowd before returning to their seats for the second half.

O'Brien and his staff still have more recruiting to do and the head coach is expected to make a visit to Iowa Western Community College this week to make a strong pitch to quarterback Jake Waters.
